Hi,

My latest blog brought the realization that Android has evolved to the point where one can port Newspeak to it. There is an effort to port Squeak, which is a good first step.

One would need JavAliens - aliens that communicate effectively with Java; and one would need a Brazil-to-Android mapping (I'd call it ElectricSheep; if you don't get the reference, that's ok).  Not sure what restrictions the Android GUI might impose. So this is not a trivial undertaking - but it is a worthwhile one.

Anyone out there feel motivated?
